Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science
Experience: Candidates should have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (including design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
- The candidates should have experience programming with at least one software programming language
- The candidates should have 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to understand the role of the Campaign Management team as the brain and nervous system of all advertisements on Amazon.com
- The candidates should be able to capture inputs for advertisers to control their advertising efforts effectively
- The candidates should be able to build large-scale, high-velocity distributed systems that service hundreds of millions of API requests per day and stream data at petabyte scale and process business logic on tight latency budgets
- The candidates should be able to stream high-fidelity data to 20+ other services to support critical advertising functions
- The candidates should be able to establish world-class CI/CD pipelines to deploy services while automating infrastructure provisioning and high-volume load testing
- The candidates should be able to implement first-rate monitoring systems to help engineers focus on innovation for advertisers
- The candidates should be able to address challenges related to concurrent workflows across distributed systems, including linearizability and eventual consistency
- The candidates should be able to solve big data problems related to propagation delay, ordering, and hygiene
- The candidates should be able to optimize performance, particularly in search functionalities
- The candidates should be able to leverage the latest AWS products and services, including but not limited to ECS, Fargate, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Kafka, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, CDK, and CloudFormation
