Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements for this role
- The candidates should be motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting to research innovative solutions to challenging technical or business problems
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have at least 2 years of industry experience with one or more of the following: large scale Web development, App development, Distributed Systems, and Information Retrieval
- The candidates should successfully pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- The candidates should hold either a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience, or possess equivalent experience
- The candidates should have good communication skills in English, demonstrate great design, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, with a passion for quality, performance, and engineering excellence
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to drive projects from design through implementation, experimentation, and shipping to users
- The candidates should be able to understand scenarios, challenges, and issues in a feature area, propose designs and solutions, and be responsible for metric-driven results
- The candidates should be able to work independently to implement, flight, and ship features to different canvases while impacting key metrics
- The candidates should be able to innovate feature ideas and analyze opportunities through data mining of Bing logs and user studies
- The candidates should be able to understand all relevant metrics, extract insights from real traffic scorecards, and create improvement plans
- The candidates should be able to build dashboards and online tests to monitor mainstreamed features’ coverage, performance, and availability
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with internal and external partner teams globally, embody the company’s culture and values
