Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct medical research and study the nature, cause, and development of diseases, as well as the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • The candidates should assess patients’ diseases or disorders to determine appropriate surgical procedures, perform and supervise surgical procedures, and repair injuries
  • The candidates should conduct microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens, prepare research papers for publication and presentation, and supervise laboratory activities
  • The candidates should also act as consultants to other physicians, diagnose and treat diseases and physiological or psychiatric disorders, and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures. Finally, they should be able to prescribe medication and treatment and refer patients for surgery
