Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be active or eligible for registration and a practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide clinical professional practice as a Speech Language Pathologist both independently and as part of a collaborative team, including external partners
  • The candidates should be able to deliver services focused on prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management
  • The candidates should be able to participate in planning, coordinating, and delivering rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners
  • The candidates should be able to utilize leadership and interpersonal skills to supervise students and offer clinical guidance to other staff
  • The candidates should be able to apply clinical expertise to support ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development
