Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to follow merchandising standards and practices
- The candidates should be to align products, collect and return stray items, and stock to maintain high product levels
- The candidates should be to communicate with supervisors and managers to determine the merchandising plan and priorities. They should also write a list of products to be brought from the steel, by a forklift driver, for stocking
- The candidates should be to use a box knife to cut boxes for display and accessibility of products and to cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallets. They should also wrap or tie and tag pallets to be returned to the steel
- The candidates should be to stock opened cases on shelves and move and position pallets of merchandise using a manual pallet jack. They should stack products from partial pallets onto full pallets
- The candidates should be to create computer-generated signs and observe and ensure correct product signage. They should also mark unmarked products with item numbers using a marking gun
- The candidates should be to set up display models, assembling as necessary, and modify displays for safe handling by members, such as bolting heavy equipment and taping blade edges. They should follow all safety and security procedures
- The candidates should be to pull loose cardboard and slip-sheets from the floor, clear the sales floor of debris, and sweep. They should also remove empty pallets from the sales floor and operate the cardboard bailer and trash compactor. Additionally, they should rewrap loose products using a shrink-wrap machine
- The candidates should be to should provide prompt and courteous member service, help members load large items into their carts, direct members to products, and relay product status knowledge
