Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be 16 years of age or older
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist in customer service by collecting shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to a safe storage location using Walmart-approved procedures, and ensuring necessary logs are completed
- The candidates should be able to respond promptly to requests at all registers, safely assist customers with carry-outs or carry-ins, and verify receipts for proof of purchase
- The candidates should be able to follow established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handle chemicals following correct disposal procedures, and use power equipment, including completing inspection reports before use
- The candidates should be able to adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring proper compliance with guidelines for hazardous communications, lockout or tagout, and bloodborne pathogens
- The candidates should be able to maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk and complete safety sweeps
- The candidates should be able to contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to Company policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to promote safety by using personal protective equipment, including wearing steel-toe footwear and the proper reflective vest during cart collection for visibility
