Salary: $18.71 to $25.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: 223 Bear Street,Banff, AB T1L 1A4
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, On-site customer service
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Hair styling techniques: Iron waving/curling, Hair braiding, Blow drying, Extensions, Twisting
Hair colouring techniques: Streaking/highlights, Dyes/tints, Bleach, Frosting
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to book appointments
- The candidates should be able to cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
- The candidates should be able to shampoo customers’ hair
- The candidates should be able to shave and trim beards and mustaches
- The candidates should be able to supervise other hair stylists and other staff
- The candidates should be able to perform receptionist duties
- The candidates should be able to maintain and order supplies
