Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer and supermarket/grocery store
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a variety of environments, including air-conditioned, cold, refrigerated, dusty, and odorous conditions
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while also being comfortable with repetitive tasks and capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet demanding tasks and demonstrate attention to detail, adapting to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during their duties, and being comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should have experience with walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling as required, being prepared for overtime as required, and having experience with weight handling, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be focused on client satisfaction and demonstrate flexibility, being organized and reliable while also being willing to collaborate and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist customers by bagging, boxing, or parceling purchases and directing them to the location of desired items
- The candidates should be responsible for maintaining computerized stock inventory, stocking shelves and display areas, and keeping stock clean and organized
- The candidates should operate a cash register, fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock, and perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors
