Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering with a C.E.T designation, which is preferred
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 2 years of experience operating a loader

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have combination of educational background along with skills/field experience will be considered
  • The candidates should have experience in land surveying and asphalt elevations
  • The candidates should have experience in GPS and Total Station
  • The candidates should have experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • The candidates should have experience in Tin files and creating surfaces
  • The candidates should have experience in creating reports, topo, and survey layout

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to complete daily safety documentation
  • The candidates should be able to participate in toolbox talks
  • The candidates should be able to undergo safety training as needed
  • The candidates should be able to work directly with superintendents, estimators, project managers, and foremen to ensure all are informed of project requirements, timelines, and obligations regarding GPS performance
  • The candidates should be able to use AutoCad, Civil 3D, and Topcon software to build surfaces for use in 3D Machine Control
  • The candidates should be able to document interim and final quantities
  • The candidates should be able to attain and compile data for the use of machine control GPS
  • The candidates should be able to provide monthly project progress reports
  • The candidates should be able to monitor quantities using GPS
  • The candidates should be able to upload, maintain, and troubleshoot GPS systems in Graders, Dozers, and Skidsteers
  • The candidates should be able to check grades and survey layout
  • The candidates should be able to assist field staff using 3D machine control
  • The candidates should be able to utilize a transit level to layout elevation data
  • The candidates should be able to manage file systems effectively, monitor and track project costs
  • The candidates should be able to conduct preliminary surveys
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge of road construction and the ability to operate Trimble Survey Equipment
