Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control
Computer and technology knowledge: SQL, PeopleSoft and Hyperion
Own tools/equipment: Computer, Internet access and Cellular phone
Credentials: CompTIA Security+ Certification
Security and safety: Basic security clearance and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure, tight deadlines, and adept at handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should have a strong attention to detail
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
- The candidates should be able to consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
- The candidates should be able to provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
- The candidates should be able to collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- The candidates should be able to participate in the redesign of applications and other software
- The candidates should be able to supervise other technical support workers in this group
- The candidates should be able to provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
- The candidates should be able to set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- The candidates should be able to perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
