Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of DEC in Food Sciences
Experience: Candidates should have 2 years of laboratory experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have passed the problem-solving test and ability to master SAP software
- The candidates should have very good knowledge of computer applications in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- The candidates should have the ability to learn Ariba software or any other ordering and inventory management software
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to implement new equipment or manage instrument repairs both in the laboratory and in production
- The candidates should be able to work with contractors and/or plant specialists to propose alternatives when equipment breaks down and suggest applicable modifications and direct resources appropriately
- The candidates should be able to respond to emergencies from laboratory analysts and production operators regarding analysis devices and computer systems
- The candidates should be able to measure the urgency of replacing certain laboratory instruments, make modifications before major repairs, send analyzes to the laboratory, and direct people to the right resources
- The candidates should be able to follow up with suppliers for troubleshooting problems with certain instruments
- The candidates should be able to track frequencies to calibrate laboratory, warehouse, and factory thermometers and establish standards for the standards and buffers used and establish methods for calibrating the devices
- The candidates should be able to establish a schedule to calibrate instruments (laboratory scales and measuring devices, thermometers, balances, titrators, pH meters, color devices, mocon, and others) in the laboratory, warehouse, and factory
- The candidates should be able to write work procedures and carry out user training both in production and in the laboratory and take samples every day on the production line to compare them with the official method
- The candidates should be able to provide coaching for operators and analysts and manage certifications MSA and make NIR calibration curves, have very good computer skills to do this, and be required to learn new software
