Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a Secondary School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have GED, Mill Common Core certification, experience with Surface Emergency Response and knowledge of grinding circuit operations
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure that environmental policies and practices are followed, prioritizing the preservation of the natural environment in all aspects of the operation
- The candidates should be able to operate the SAG and Ball Mill circuits, monitoring and inspecting all equipment from the SAG feed to the pre-leach thickener
- The candidates should be able to ensure adherence to all pre-operational checks and procedural requirements to safely start up, operate efficiently, and safely shut down all process equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform Lock Out and Tag Out procedures on processing equipment and operate all equipment in accordance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot, correct, and report circuit upsets and equipment malfunctions
- The candidates should be able to ensure proper sampling is performed to monitor metallurgical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- The candidates should be able to complete and maintain shift logs and reports with accuracy, ensuring data is reported with the required level of detail
- The candidates should be able to assist with maintenance and perform other miscellaneous labor activities and operate various pieces of auxiliary and mobile equipment
- The candidates should be able to share best practices and experiences with other operators to promote a collaborative and successful teamwork environment
- The candidates should be able to perform training activities and direct laborers and perform other duties
