Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail
- The candidates should stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have flexibility and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces
- The candidates should be able to inspect final products
- The candidates should be able to set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- The candidates should be able to test prototypes and production tools
- The candidates should be able to verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- The candidates should be able to lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic, and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates
- The candidates should be able to position, secure, measure, and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining
- The candidates should be able to set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
