Job Description:

Salary: $23.50 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle physically demanding tasks, manage handling heavy loads, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate flexibility, work effectively as a team player, and show a hardworking attitude

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, clean and lubricate cranes, and erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt, assist in demolishing buildings, clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work
  • The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
