Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Certified Training Profession (CTP) or similar certificate
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 5 years of adult training experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be prepared to work on site at our Centre
  • The candidates should be available to work 60 hours biweekly, Monday to Friday, during daytime hours
  • The candidates should be open to the possibility of full-time commitment and travel for the first 6 to 8 weeks for training
  • The candidate should be capable of providing coaching and post training support
  • The candidate should be flexible to adapt to different learners and situations

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • The candidate should preferably be an ISTP trainer, additional specific designations, licensure or qualifications or equivalent
  • The candidate should have experience in a biologics, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or health-related environment
  • The candidate should possess well-developed classroom delivery and facilitation skills
  • The candidate should demonstrate an understanding and application of adult learning principles
  • The candidate should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The candidate should possess excellent customer service skills
  • The candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills
  • The candidate should have proficiency with MS Office Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
  • The candidate should be detail-oriented and capable of working in a highly regulated environment

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to support all Supply Chain training activities within the Region, following Canadian Blood Services regulations, standards, and good manufacturing practices
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate Training Requirements
  • The candidates should be able to conduct periodic reviews of training status, GMP issues, non-conformance reports, and recommend appropriate action to the Resource Manager, Supply Chain
  • The candidates should be able to assist with the implementation of new projects and processes
  • The candidates should be able to periodically perform procedures to maintain technical competency and efficiency in training requirements
  • The candidates should be able to perform work following the provisions of Canadian Blood Services’ Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
