Salary: $28.90 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Richmond, BC
Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Spray injection patcher, stone slinger, concrete mixing, dump truck, surface mining dump, off-highway
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be capable of handling physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and be comfortable with sitting for extended periods during their shift
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to work and exhibit good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in managing their tasks and responsibilities and demonstrate reliability in fulfilling their duties

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and demonstrate professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to drive lighter, special purpose trucks, load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- The candidates should be able to pay and receive payments for goods, record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
