Salary: $28.85 hourly for 40 to 50 hours per week

Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and Willing to travel for extended periods
Work setting: Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be willing to work overtime as required
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform brake adjustments
- The candidates should be able to perform emergency roadside repairs, pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
