Salary: $29.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy and load and unload goods
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to pay and receive payments for goods and perform brake adjustments
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle, and receive and relay information to central dispatch
- The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
