Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: AZ class license
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have attention to detail, be able to handle heavy loads, and sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess good judgment, be organized, and be reliable

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques, drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, and load and unload goods
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • The candidates should be able to tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
