Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: AZ class license and DZ class license
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be attentive to detail, capable of performing repetitive tasks, and proficient in weight handling, up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible in adapting to various tasks, be organized in their approach to work, be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities, and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- The candidates should be able to perform emergency roadside repairs, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
