Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be attentive to detail
  • The candidates should be willing to work overtime
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load and unload goods and oversee the condition of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment and perform brake adjustments
  • The candidates should be able to perform emergency roadside repairs and conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance and receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
