Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, and coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
- The candidates should be able to maintain professionalism in customer service, and arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
- The candidates should be able to oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, and pay and receive payments for goods
- The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments, and perform emergency roadside repairs, to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, and perform preventive maintenance
- The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- The candidates should be able to tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo
