Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Shellbrook, SK
Shifts: Overtime, Flexible Hours

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul, Provincial/territorial, Regional, Short-haul
Documentation knowledge: Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports
Type of trucking and equipment: Flatbed, Liquid Bulk, Tractor-Trailer, and Tractor-Trailer B Train
Credentials: Class 1/1F/A Licence (Semi Trailer Trucks) and Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract) and Medical exam

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption and tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
