Salary: $34.50 to $35.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week

Transportation information: International, Long-Haul, Willing To Travel Cross-Border, and Willing To Travel Overnight
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) And Other Navigation Equipment and Trip Recorder (On-Board Computer)
Documentation knowledge: Accident Or Incident Reports, Bill Of Lading, Dangerous Goods Occurrence Reports, Driver Logbook, Inspection Report (Pre-Trip, En-Route, Post-Trip), Maintenance And Repair Reports, Trans-Border Documentation, and Trip Reports
Credentials: AZ class license
Security and safety:Â Valid Passport, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Validity Licence Check, and Driving Record Check (Abstract)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed, plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions and maintain professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment and pay and receive payments for goods
- The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments, perform emergency roadside repairs, perform preventive maintenance and receive and relay information to central dispatch
- The candidates should be able to transport and handle dangerous goods
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
