Job Description:

Salary: $28.85 hourly 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations, drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, load and unload goods
The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
The candidates should be able to oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments, perform emergency roadside repairs
The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch
The candidates should be able to tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
