Salary:Â $30.00 to $38.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 44 to 72 hours per week

Transportation information:Â Drive manual transmission vehicle, Travel expenses paid by employer, Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Dump truck, Flatbed, Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)
Credentials:Â Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Security and safety:Â Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and able to efficiently handle repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable with tasks involving sitting
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should excel in oral communication and be flexible in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should be highly organized in managing tasks and responsibilities and reliable in meeting job requirements
- The candidates should be effective team players, contributing positively to collaborative efforts
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of the vehicle, and perform preventive maintenance
- The candidates should be able to tarping and ensure the safety and security of cargo
