Salary: $17.00 to $26.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Sarnia, ON
Shifts: 08:00 to 16:30
Transportation information: Willing to travel regularly, and valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Repair, service, in-shop, and on-site customer service

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Mechanical
Security and safety: Bondable, and driver’s validity licence check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in dusty conditions and be prepared to work outdoors as required by the job, the work environment may be noisy, and the candidates should be able to work in such conditions
• The candidates should be proficient in manual dexterity for various tasks, demonstrate attention to detail in their work, and possess hand-eye coordination for efficient performance
• The candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work overtime as required by the job
• The candidates should be fit for physically demanding tasks, and the candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their duties

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be proficient in efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities
• The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities and exhibit reliability in completing assigned duties

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to inspect products to determine the requirements for repair, repair or replace defective or worn parts and components, and test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
•  The candidates should be able to calibrate products using hand tools
