Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads, including weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to grade, sort, pack, and examine produce for quality, ensuring it’s market-ready
- The candidates should be able to hand-harvest vegetables, plant, cultivate, irrigate crops, and weed
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry, and load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties and ensure farm safety and biosecurity procedures are followed
