Salary: $17.40 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Type of crops: Onions and Potatoes
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks, handle physically demanding tasks, and be skilled in handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to walk as part of their job duties and be proficient in weight handling, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear fields of wood and stones, hand harvest vegetables, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and perform weeding
- The candidates should be able to divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots, grade vegetables and fruits according to size, shape, color, and volume, and examine products for quality and readiness for the market
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
