Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding tasks, have hand-eye coordination, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, and kneel
- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be good judgment, be organized, be reliable, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to cultivate on vertical farming systems, and perform greenhouse cleaning
- The candidates should be able to hand-harvest vegetables, and maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
- The candidates should be able to clean work areas, and report signs of insect or disease damage
- The candidates should be able to pot and re-pot plants, and plant seedlings
- The candidates should be able to mix and prepare soils, and assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
