Salary: $17.40 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads
The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market, hand harvest vegetables, pack fruits and vegetables
The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, weed, fertilize and spray crops
The candidates should be able to harvest crops, load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
The candidates should be able to examine product for quality and its readiness for the market, perform general farm duties, maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
The candidates should be able to ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
