Salary: $15.40 to $16.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 10 to 20 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience:Â Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Animal specialization:Â Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.), exotic birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc., laboratory animals (rats, monkeys, etc.), marine fish, and reptiles
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, perform physically demanding tasks, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel, work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have client focus, dependability, and efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be flexible
- The candidates should have good judgement, be reliable, and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe and shampoo animals, prepare food and feed animals, and clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures
- The candidates should be able to keep records of animals treated, assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, and supervise helpers
- The candidates should be able to maintain and order supplies
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
