Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp areas, in viticulture, in a noisy area, in odors, in outdoors, in hot areas, in dangerous areas, in dusty areas, and in cold/refrigerated areas
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do deleafing
- The candidates should be able to maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes
- The candidates should be able to do shoot positioning
- The candidates should be able to do soil fertility programs
- The candidates should be able to do suckering, tying, weeding
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
