Lee & Ann Family Restaurant based in Prince Rupert, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Waiter/waitress. Lee & Ann Family Restaurant is a popular dining establishment which takes pride in providing a family-friendly environment where patrons can enjoy a wide variety of dishes. Our menu features a diverse range of options, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. From hearty breakfast classics to comforting lunch and dinner favorites, our restaurant aims to cater to different tastes and preferences. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, flexible, reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, provide customer service
