Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required, work in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required, perform physically demanding tasks, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be experienced in weight handling, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, and greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
