Work setting: Various locations, Warehouse, Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Strapping machine, Light trucks, and Loader
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit and capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- The candidates should be detail-oriented and have a keen attention to detail
- The candidates should have excellent hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload efficiently and effectively
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- The candidates should be able to ship orders efficiently and accurately
- The candidates should be able to pick orders and stock shelves with precision
- The candidates should be able to make labels and attach them to goods appropriately
- The candidates should be able to provide exceptional customer service
- The candidates should be able to wrap goods securely for shipping or storage
- The candidates should be able to pack and unpack goods carefully
- The candidates should be able to sort, crate, and stack goods according to organizational standards
- The candidates should be able to store cargo and materials in designated areas safely
- The candidates should be able to transport and distribute materials and goods as needed
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory accurately
- The candidates should be able to utilize computerized inventory control systems to organize inventories effectively
