Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have relative experience including Warehouse Supervisory Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should travel minimal or non-existent
  • The candidates should excel in setting priorities and managing schedules
  • The candidates should be able to work in a cold environment
  • The candidates should be capable of lifting a minimum of 20 lbs. to a maximum of 50 lbs

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess supervisor skills and experience, have strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities
  • The candidates should have the ability to effectively train other team members, hold a valid Forklift Certification and hold a valid Standard First Aid Certification
  • The candidates should adhere to policy and procedures and have basic computer skills, including Excel knowledge
  • The candidates should have a High School level of reading, writing, and math proficiency
  • The candidates should be familiar with equipment such as fax machines, copiers, wrapping machines, and slicing machines
  • The candidates should be adept at resolving product shortages and job-related situations
  • The candidates should be capable of retrieving information when systems fail or shut down
  • The candidates should have experience in resolving staff conflicts
  • The candidates should be responsible for purchasing supplies and forecasting product orders

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to ensure an emphasis on team collaboration while ensuring quality brand standards
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, and motivate employees toward achieving company goals in serving customers (stores or third Party) with maximum quality products in a Food Production Facility, leading the warehouse team with the right examples
  • The candidates should be able to handle administrative work such as updating the daily Receiving Log and tracking the Merchandising Report and verify receiving product vs PO on a daily basis, including PO submission, and submit the PO to the third Party daily
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Warehouse supervisor in daily Inventory Control, including coordination of the Daily Delivery Schedule and train new employees while ensuring all Policies and Procedures are being met, providing training to all Shippers and Receivers as required
  • The candidates should be able to monitor employee hygiene and GMP Practices are being followed according to SOP and Brand standards and ensure all Health and Safety Regulations and Requirements are being followed and met daily
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate above-average problem-solving skills to provide solution-focused outcomes within the warehouse and prepare and plan for the launch of new products, promotions, and preparation for the production teams
  • The candidates should be able to attend weekly and bi-weekly calls as required by the FC Manager and monitor workflow in all production areas, including implementation of the updated HCAAP plan
  • The candidates should be able to ensure all warehouse equipment is working properly and in good functioning order, which includes Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, and Docking Stations
  • The candidates should be able to update MSDS monthly and attend the Health and Safety Meetings Monthly and ensure all products are kept at the required safe temperature guidelines while receiving and shipping
  • The candidates should be able to monitor daily Inventory and Write Off Controls, including FIFO standards and ensure a safe working environment by monitoring all safety standards inside the warehouse
  • The candidates should be able to effectively lead their team while promoting our Leadership Qualities and handle other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, supervising the team in the absence of the Warehouse supervisor
  • The candidates should be able to evaluate team member job performance and report to the Health and Safety Committee of any safety concerns
  • The candidates should be able to report to the Assistant Manager of the Food Center
