Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Strapping machine, Pallet lifters
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads and work with manual dexterity
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of bending, crouching and kneeling
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail and work with hand-eye coordination
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to build pallets also load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- The candidate should be able to operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
- The candidate should be able to ship orders also pick orders and stock
- The candidate should be able to weigh materials and goods
- The candidate should be able to make labels and attach to goods
- The candidate should be able to provide customer service also wrap goods
- The candidate should be able to pack and unpack goods also sort, crate and stack goods
- The candidate should be able to store cargo and materials
- The candidate should be able to transport and distribute materials and goods
- The candidate should be able to organize and maintain inventory
- The candidate should be able to operate computerized inventory control systems also order picking
