Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be capable of handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required for the job
The candidates should be accustomed to performing repetitive tasks as part of their responsibilities
The candidates should be physically fit to handle the demands of a physically demanding role
The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in tasks and assignments
The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination for tasks that require precision

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications
The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
The candidates should be able to fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
The candidates should be able to determine the weldability of materials
The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
