Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Morning
Work setting: Manufacture, sheet metal shop, and metal product fabrication industry
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Overhead crane, Gas welding machine, power presses, and lifting device
Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending
Own tools/equipment: Tools, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, welding helmet, safety equipment/gear, and ear plugs
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for physically demanding tasks, capable of handling heavy loads as required, and able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity for tasks as needed, demonstrate attention to detail in their work, and possess hand-eye coordination skills
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as part of their duties
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should be organized in their duties and responsibilities
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
- The candidates should be familiar with computer-aided design (CAD) and able to determine the weldability of materials
- The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment and be familiar with computer numerical control (CNC) machines
- The candidates should be able to check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications, document work completed, and cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
