Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail and demonstrate hand-eye coordination effectively
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment proficiently
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes accurately
- The candidates should be able to examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications, operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal effectively
- The candidates should be able to determine the weldability of materials and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
