Welding techniques: Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Plasma arc welding (PAW), Submerged arc welding (SAW), Brazing and soldering
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be hardworking and demonstrate resourcefulness
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, as well as operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
