Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Cast iron and other metals
Equipment and machinery experience: Soldering machine
Own tools/equipment: Tools, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and welding helmet
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in confined spaces, dusty conditions, hot environments, and noisy conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle physically demanding work, and work overtime when required
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and weight handling up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- The candidates should have manual dexterity

- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and be organized
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, and operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) and (AOC)
- The candidates should be able to fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, determine the weldability of materials, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
