Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle physically demanding tasks, and have manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills, excellent written communication skills, and be resourceful
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes, and determine the weldability of materials
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, as well as operate previously set-up welding, brazing, or soldering machines to fabricate or repair metal parts
- The candidates should be able to examine welds to ensure they meet standards, fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and use computer-aided design (CAD)
- The candidates should be able to operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor the robotic welding production line, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
