Salary: $34.50 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Type of materials: Aluminum alloys and Non-metallic materials

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be flexible and should be organized
• The candidate should be a team player and should be punctual

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications
• The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
• The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• The candidates should be able to operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
• The candidates should be able to fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
• The candidates should be able to determine weldability of materials
• The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
