Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Welding techniques: Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates will get a fast-paced environment and attention to detail

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be efficient in interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
• The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment, and follow emergency and safety procedures
