Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Welding techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
Equipment and machinery experience: Gas welding machine

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and handle heavy loads
The candidates should be able to work in physically demanding conditions, demonstrate manual dexterity, and pay attention to detail
The candidates should be able to exhibit hand-eye co-ordination, stand for extended periods, and handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be flexible, organized, a team player, punctual and hardworking

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment, maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
