Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Type of materials: Aluminum alloys, Copper and copper alloys, Steel, iron and heavy metals
Welding techniques:Â MIG
Area of work experience:Â Welding
Area of specialization: Custom fabrication, Cast iron and other metals, Fencing, balconies, stairs and railings
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized and flexible
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, computer-aided design (CAD)
- The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- The candidates should be able to determine weldability of materials, operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal
- The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
