Salary: $27.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Delta, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Morning
Work setting: Sheet metal fabrication shop

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Welding
Equipment and machinery experience: Lifting device, and hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Tools, steel-toed safety boots, and safety glasses/goggles

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in dusty, hot, and noisy environments
• The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, capable of handling heavy loads, managing a large workload, and handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate dependability, exhibit flexibility, and be team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist structural steel and plate work fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, and load and unload vehicles
