Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Welding

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in dusty conditions and able to work in hot environments
• The candidates should be prepared to work in noisy settings and be comfortable working at heights

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products, immerse metal products in cleaning solutions, and assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers
• The candidates should be able to sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, and clean machines and immediate work areas
• The candidates should be able to load and unload vehicles, polish metal products to a mirror finish, and read and interpret work orders
